Gutsies is Ottawa's only 100% gluten-free grocery store and bakery, with two locations in Orléans and Kanata. Our gluten-free adventure began in 2013 when our daughter Maya was diagnosed with celiac disease. At that time, we quickly realized how challenging it was for families struggling with this autoimmune disease to find good and affordable gluten free options. We travelled to many places to find what we needed, and it was often hit and miss. This is when a brilliant idea came to mind. Why not use our expertise and contacts to create a concept where people could buy everything they needed under one roof? This place would offer a bakery, pastries, delicious quality meals to go, and an amazing variety of products in our freezers and on our shelves. That's how Gutsies was born!
Gutsies is a one-stop shop for gluten-free individuals in Ottawa and the surrounding area. Here, you'll find everything you need to feed yourself, your family, or your guests. In addition to a fantastic variety of pre-packaged gluten-free products such as pasta, flour, sauces, mixes, cereals, crackers, soups, bouillon powder, cookies, snacks, and chips, we offer a diverse selection of frozen items including pizzas, crusts, soups, waffles, hamburger buns, pies, muffins, spring rolls, egg rolls, parogies, corn dogs, and chicken nuggets. We also prepare delicious homemade meals that are frozen in individual portions for easy reheating and quick consumption. On top of all this, we offer a wide variety of freshly baked breads, muffins, cookies, cakes, squares, and scones.

What an INCREDIBLE little store. The gluten free pastries here are some of the best I've ever had (oh my GOSH the eggnog cheesecake is divine)! Not only do they have a great selection of baked goods ready to go but they have a rather excellent selection of other products. GLUTEN FREE GYOZA ANYONE!? And on top of that that staff is so kind and lovely! It might be heaven on earth for Celiacs!
Went into Gutsies for the first time today. The store is immaculate and smells like a dream. I had their croissant and it is on point, flaky chewy warm and delicious. Just like the real thing. I've left with a sampling of baked goods, bread and tourtiere and am so excited to try it all. A must stop shop for all your gluten free needs.
Bonus, staff is bilingual and so so friendly. Will come back!
The absolute BEST gluten free bakery I have ever been to, with the kindest owners! I ordered an angel food cake with strawberries on it, and 6 donuts, for my birthday.
The cake and donuts tasted like heaven! My youngest child had a donut and said “These donuts were blessed by God!” I couldn't agree more! I've never tasted such delicious donuts! The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked!
I have waited most of my adult life for a place like this. The food is amazing. The staff even more so. I can't say enough good things about this place.
Gutsies is absolutely amazing! I have celiac disease, and it's been hard to find a place that offers just gluten free treats instead of vegan. On top of their delicious desserts, their customer service is the best! Natasha and Denis have been so amazing to communicate with to make a cake and cookies for my engagement party. They were so kind to my fiancé and I, paid attention to detail, and made a beautiful cake and cookies for the party! Everyone loved them! I highly recommend this place for anything gluten free you need!
